Chaos 2013 is coming at you. This year the Channel Islands only truly independent music festival will be bigger and better than ever, but will remain faithful to the ethos of Bikes, Bands, Beer and No Bullshit! Located on possibly the most amazing festival location on earth, beautiful sunsets will be mixed with screaming riffs and smoking rubber to make what we know as Chaos. Only those that have been will understand that this recipe adds up to possibly the most relaxed and trouble free environment that leaves all newcomers wonder why they had never been.
Inside the biggest tent in Guernsey the Greenman stage will rock your weekend while serving up a range of ice cold drinks. Line-ups are yet to be confirmed but as with every year we aim to outdo ourselves and provide the best mix of alternative music we can find for you. Come rain, hail or blazing sunshine (and we have had all of them at Chaos) this huge tent will allow you to enjoy the music with a drink of your choice in comfort! Whether you are moshing at the front, leaning on the bar, relaxing at a table or having a game of pool, a great time is guaranteed for all. As always there will be shops and stalls for you to browse, supplies of your festival essentials, and children’s entertainment nearby.
Once again bending space and time to be with you, the wonktabulous Peace Tent warps it’s fractal strangeness around anybody lucky enough to step inside.
Come for the coffee, beer, toasties and bands, stay for the morris dancing, psytrance, talking walls and comfy chairs. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Nestled in-between the two will be an opportunity to dine in comfort in the food tent. Whether you want an all-day breakfast, a steak baguette, or a Thai Green Curry, your needs will be satisfied to keep you rocking all weekend.
Of course we are the Greenman Motorcycle Club, so you will see the biggest line up of bikes in Guernsey vying for the many trophies on offer. Whether you like your bikes long and low or jacked up streetfighters, there is always something for everyone. From the latest showroom offering to radical customs, it’s all here. This year we will be adding a new category for Radical Bicycles, so even if you are not yet able to take to the roads on your raked out Harley or jacked up Gixxer, you can still get busy with the angle grinder and welder and take to your Raleigh or Mongoose. Those not so concerned about keeping the chrome shiny will be duelling on the burnout pit and smoking rubber to be crowned the Burnout King of Chaos.
Keeping the weekend busy there will be many activities for you to take part in or just sit back and watch that may or may not include a tug of war competition, Man Vs Food hot chilli wings competition, Bouncy castles for kids and big kids and various silly games.
The party starts at Midday on July 12th and keeps going right through until 10pm on July 14th. Camping is included in your gate price if you are over 18. Under 18s are more than welcome all weekend, but we do ask that they leave the site at midnight each day. Children 13 and under are completely free so long as they are accompanied by a ticket buying adult. Valid Photo ID will be required on the gate for anyone lucky enough to look under 21.
