I'm in Guernsey, how do I get to Chaos?

If you don’t mind public transport, jump on the number 91 bus from town or the airport, and get dropped within a short walk from the site! There will be signposts from the bus stop. Here’s the timetable.

If you’re planning on making your own way to Chaos, check out the GPS coordiantes below and a Google Map with directions from St Peter Port Harbour and the Airport that lead straight to the front gates!

For all of you using GPS out there, these are the digits you’ll need…

Is there camping?

Mi Casa es Su Casa! The campsite opens midday Friday, and closes midday Monday. Camping is STRICTLY over 18’s only.

Normal rules apply to the site. We ask that you don’t bring items such as gas canisters, petrol fuelled cookers, knives or anything that could jeopardise other campers. THESE ITEMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON SITE!

What about a nice campfi…?

HELL NO! Sadly as nice as it would be to sit round a campfire at the end
of each evening the site has to be strictly NO FIRES, it’s summer on the
Guernsey cliffs people. Be sensible. This includes BBQs, disposable or otherwise.

I want to go to Chaos, am I old enough?

Under 14s are admitted free with a ticket buying adult. Under 18s are more than welcome to come enjoy the weekend. However you do have to go home at midnight. You are more than welcome to return each day.

Camping is strictly for over 18s only.

Proof Of Age
If you are lucky enough to look under 21, we may ask you to prove your age
when entering Chaos. You will only need to present your ID once, after that
we’ll give you a wristband confirming your age.

The ONLY accepted proof of age documents are:

  1. Passport (Not a photocopy)
  2. Driving License (displaying section 14 on the back of the license proving age)
  3. Citizen Card – The card must be part of the PASS scheme and carry their hologram.

What can/can't I bring on site?

Unfortunately pets are NOT allowed anywhere on site, including the car park, unless they are registered assistance/guide dogs.

Can I bring my dor or other pet?

Chaos is strictly a NO BYOB event!
Any alcohol confiscated will NOT be returned!
We’ve tried to cover most things on here,
but if there’s something we’ve missed Contact us and ask!

What food is there?

We always ensure that there is food on site to cater for all dietary requirements.

Can I go shopping at Chaos?

There will be a variety of stands on site in case you feel the need to buy yourself a new t-shirt, some fresh chilli sauce or even a new bike!

Can I pay with card?

Yes, there is a card machine at the merch stall in the main hall.

People say music festivals can’t be environmentally friendly……well we say “challenge accepted”!

Over the Chaos weekend you will see volunteers on site collecting and sorting through the Chaos rubbish 24 hours a day to ensure we prove our critics wrong and look after this amazing part of Guernsey. If you enjoy coming to our ‘little party’ we would ask that you dispose of your rubbish thoughtfully and use all of the recycling, rubbish and food bins provided; we will be handing out recycling bags and the bins will be labelled. Please ask your sober self to have a word with your drunk self to help us with this by putting things in the right bins. We will even put pictures on the bins in case your drunk self can’t focus enough to read.

As well as sorting all the waste and recycling being sorted onsite, plus the entire area around Chaos being litter picked after the event, as we have in previous years we will be handing out pocket sized ashtrays, kindly sponsored by Breda Lager. Please note, these are not single use, disposable items. Many people still have and regularly use the ones handed out six years ago, so if you still have an old one please bring it and use it. Every little bit less rubbish left around is not only better for the event, but better for the beautiful location in the beautiful island Chaos is in!

Water refill stations will also be available across the site.

After the media coverage of the mountains of litter following some UK festivals last year we are proud to be able to stand tall and say we leave the cliff top as we find it. Our future depends on your support so please help us to hand the farmer’s back their land free of any rubbish. As they say leave only your footprints (and your mind?). Chaos Festival, proud to be Green.

Thanks in advance from the Chaos Crew

The Chaos site and surrounding fields are agricultural land. To ensure the future of the festival please refrain from bringing glass onto the car parks and other areas used by the event. Anyone caught fly tipping will be dealt with accordingly. Thank you & see you at the Bar!
